Help “Yourself” to Lose Weight!!

Weight has been an issue with many people all over the world and I’m pretty darn sure that the numbers will not go down as with the types of food around us, the baby boomer generation will be the next in line to suffer from this chaotic problem.

First touch of water

Oh yes, they definitely will unless the humans start taking precaution on the type of food they eat and manufacturers become more considerate by moving into the healthy food direction then at least, it will help in sustaining the numbers as they are.

Some people have realized the problems and are taking an initiative to modify their lifestyle habits to an extent but usually, they give up at the end of the day. They just don’t realize that it cannot be settled overnight. If you are just looking at changing your lifestyle for a short period of time, I can tell you that you will end up pretty disappointed with your weight loss efforts and will not want to do it anymore.

That’s where the problem looms. Besides diet and exercises there is another factor that will play a major role in your success.

Motivation. This is the key factor!

So, here are two motivation examples which you should practice to fight off the excess weight.

~

The first thing you should do is to avoid self-sabotaging thoughts!

In terms of taking fake diet pills, self-sabotaging thoughts will do you more harm compared to those pills. If you keep telling yourself that you cannot do those things in order to lose weight, your goals definitely can’t be achieved. “I cannot do sit-ups and push-ups”. These are the constant excuses people always give themselves before they really even tried it. :|

Ok, so you really cannot do 30 push-ups. Why don’t you start off small? Like 5 – 10? Start with 10 push-ups and congratulate yourself after it’s completed successfully. Then, you can gradually increase the numbers in your routine until you reach your target of 30 push-ups. Can’t do 5 – 10 still? Then just start off with 1 but the road there will take a little more time.

Just take action and DO it, if you think too much, nothing will materialize and it would be wiser to spend the time on developing thoughts and criticism into exercises. Just thinking about losing weight will not help you but if you take actions, that is another whole story~

~

The next motivation is another common thing which people never notice, “You can never stand alone!”

You will need all the support you can get to keep yourself determined and motivated. Gather as much support as you can, regardless of family and friends. Just make sure your supporters understand and support your goals. It makes no difference if your family and friends constantly find fault in you, this in turn will make you de-motivated and disappointed. So, make sure you find those that are going all out to help you reach your dreams.

If you are following a weight loss program, always get one that can offer its members support in the form of either a support group or forum where everyone can discuss their problems and tips from peers and experts alike.

~

If you can successfully harness the power of those motivational keys, there is NO reason (Yea, you heard me~ NO reason at all) to be unable to lose weight! Everything that you believe in your mind can be achieved. Believe that you can lose weight and you will. Sounds cliché but is very much true!

All the best in managing your weight~ :D
