Healthy Love Bites

It has been long since people are talking about the power of Law of Attraction.

In case you don’t know what is the Law of Attraction,  it is the law of attraction.. Duh!

Hahaha, basically, what they are trying to say is when a person focuses his mind and thoughts on positive stuff all the time, naturally he will attract all the positive energy to him thus, things will run smoothly for that person. That is the general concept. You can go and search for ‘The Secret’ video to know more about the Law of Attraction.

So, do you think this works? For many, it does.

However, what I wanna talk about in this post is about The Law of “Opposite” Attraction. Not in terms of the attracting negative energy. Who would want that!?

In terms of relationship is what I’m saying.

Taking myself as an example, I remember my cousin once told me, “You are the ‘quiet’ kind of person, your future girlfriend will be the ‘loud’ kind.” I was like.. “Huh?”, and true enough, :p I got a ‘loud’ girlfriend in the end. “Loud” in the sense of the more sociable kind and more outgoing type. (Don’t kill me for this, Lil)

It’s been awhile since Lil and me got together, and hmmm.. come to think of it, we are so different in many ways yet, similar in many too.  Been through many ups and downs but yeaa, we managed them well.

Lifestyle of a working person and a student is so different. A whole new ruthless world now awaits you upon getting the piece of certificate which you have been spending most of your life chasing. We both have been pretty busy with our own job and stuff and time spent has been drastically reduced. For now, everything is still going smoothly for us.

We don’t know what will be in store for the future but I know one thing, I love you.

LOL.

Sounds abit drama, but back to the point, what do you think of couples with different personality? Or, do you think couples should be have similar characteristics?

For me, I feel that couples who are different are more likely to be able to strengthen their relationship. Those who have similar traits in characters are highly prone of more arguments i guess. Taking into consideration, two individuals who are hot headed. If one gets angry on a issue, I’m sure the other one will return the flames of anger back. That seriously will cause a casualty to the relationship.

In terms of the “opposite” attraction, if one gets hot headed, the other one might still be cool about it but only time can tell how long can the other tolerate such behaviour. Am I right??
